![]() I know nothing about truss rod adjustments and the like but am looking at the adjustment instructions on the Fender website. So it seems likely that it has been hanging in the shop string with heavier strings and now the neck is out. I see from the Fender website that these strats are supposed to come from the factory strung with. This starts becoming noticeable above the 5th fret with buzzing on bends and gets worse as you go up the neck. Getting home I find that I can't bend the thinner strings up a tone (just cuts out) anywhere above the 12th fret. 0095's (his choice) and so I assume that is what it had been strung with before. I'd say it had been hanging unsold in the store for quite some time (strings were obviously very old). ![]() ![]() I've recently bought a new Highway 1 HSS (post-2006 model) with the fat frets.
